Openly Inclusive - making inclusivity simple

Acknowledgement of Country

Openly Inclusive acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we work and live, and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters, and culture.

We pay our respects to Elders past, present, and emerging, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Our Commitment

Inclusive by Design

We are committed to ensuring our platform serves all communities, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, with cultural respect and appropriate accessibility considerations.

Cultural Safety

We recognise the importance of cultural accessibility and are committed to working with Indigenous communities to ensure our platform respects and reflects cultural needs.

Place-Based Recognition

We acknowledge that the venues we assess sit on lands with deep cultural significance, and we encourage venue owners to acknowledge and respect this in their own practices.

Ongoing Learning

We are committed to ongoing learning and improvement in our understanding of Indigenous accessibility needs and cultural protocols.

About This Acknowledgement

This Acknowledgement of Country recognises that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are the Traditional Custodians of Australia. As a platform dedicated to accessibility and inclusion, we understand that true inclusivity must encompass cultural respect and recognition.

We recognise that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples experience intersectional barriers to access, and we are committed to addressing these through our platform while respecting cultural protocols and sovereignty.

This acknowledgement reflects our ongoing commitment to work with Indigenous communities, listening to their needs, and ensuring our platform serves all Australians with respect and dignity.
